Negative: In the property highlights it states “the entire place is yours” it fails to mention the bathroom is shared. The walls are wafer thing and unfortunately we had to endure a night a heavy snoring coming from the other side .. The bed linen smelt musty probably because it’s a cold room, everything else was as expected for the price.

Positive: It was a lovely little place, it was very tidy and comfortable, the beds were very comfortable. I enjoyed staying there for two nights.

Positive: The owners are very welcoming and helpful. The bed (pictured) very comfy with nice bedding. I was invited to use the garden seating, though the weather was ungood but if a few weeks earlier would have been ideal. Also offered bike loan. All in all it's budget accomodation, friendly helpful owners.
Negative: The bathroom is drab really and it's shared. I hadn't realised the other room was going to be occupied and had assumed I would have basic cooking facilities which were in the other room. The furniture in my room was too big for the room and kept stubbing my toe on the bed legs. The other occupant left when I arrived and I was allowed to use the fridge then .all in all the cottage would be great with a bathroom refurb and the front bedroom made into a kitchen and living area as a self contained self catering wee flat. There was no instructions for heating but the owners came to the rescue. The heating needs an independent control.
